هدف البحث إلى الوقوف على الأسباب التي أدت إلى السيول والفيضانات وحجم الأضرار المترتبة عليها، ووضع الحلول اللازمة لها. تكمن مشكلة البحث في الاجابة على السؤال الرئيس التالي: هل للسيول والفيضانات أثرعلى منطقة الدراسة؟.
