Abstract:
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى وصف وتحليل شعر أبي العلاء المعري ونوع مظاهر الطبيعة ، والجوانب الشعرية التي استخدمها الشاعر في شعره ، وإبراز المصادر التي استعان بها الشاعر في وصفه.
اعتمد الباحث على المصادر الرئيسة في الحصول على المعلومات ، وشمل ذلك المراجع والكتب في مجال الشعر العربي ، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الاستقرائي والمنهج التاريخي من أجل الوصول إلى النتائج ، والتي من أهمها وصفه للطبيعة في حب وإعجاب ونشوى ودقة رغم فقدانه للحاسة، وأكثر ما وصف الظواهر المتحركة ، كالكواكب ، النجوم ، الليل ، الفجر ، وكذلك المرأة والإبل. وجعل قوافيه على حرفين.
وسبب اختيار الموضوع هو إماطة اللثام حتى يبين مظاهر تفوقه ونبوغه. و تكمن أهميته في أنه يتناول دراسة أحد شعراء العصر العباسي الأول المجيدين في الوصف وأغراضه.

The present study aims at describing and analyzing Abul Al alaa lmaari poetry as he has already used his poetry to depict the natural phenomena and shed alight in an accurate depiction during his process of description.
The researcher has depended on the main sources for gathering data , such as the references and the books of Arabic poetry. The descriptive and historical approaches have been used by the researcher in order to come out with the results. The most important ones are: the depiction of natural phenomena in an extreme love , admiration and great delight in spite of loosing eye sight, he is describing the removed natural phenomena such as the stars , planets , the night , dawn , woman , and camels.
If we asked about the causes behind choosing this academic topic it refers to the specific aim of the researcher to explain dearly the characteristics of excellence and cleverness of the poet as an important mother nizer poet preceded the others in the goodness of poetry from the first generation of Bani Abas who characterized with his high capacity of depicting the Arabic poetry and well known of its poetic purposes.
