واقع الدوريات الإلكترونية العلمية بالمكتبات الجامعية

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى إيجاد وسيلة للتغلب على المشكلات التي تواجه توفير الدوريات العلمية الالكترونية التي تتم إتاحتها للباحثين في المكتبات الجامعية في السودان. معرفة واقع أوعية المعلومات الالكترونية بمكتبات جامعة غرب كردفان ومدى مواكبتها للتطورات المعلوماتية المتسارعة. تعد هذه الدراسة من الاهمية بمكان وذلك بسبب الاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة للنشر الالكتروني. الدوريات الالكترونية لها دور فعال في تطوير البحث العلمي بمؤسسات التعليم العالي بالسودان، كذلك ترجع أهميتها إلى اشتمالها على المقالات والبحوث التي تقدم معلومات وأفكار أكثر حداثة من تلك التي توجد في الكتب. إيجاد وسيلة للتغلب على المشكلات التي تواجه توفر الدوريات العلمية الالكترونية بحيث تتم إتاحتها للباحثين في المكتبات الجامعية في السودان. إقتناء الدوريات العلمية الالكترونية يسهم في تحقيق النمو العلمي. إتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومنهج دراسة الحالة ، وتوصلت إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: وقد أوصت الدراسة بالآتي: ضرورة توفير المطلوبات الضرورية اللازمة لضمان الاستفادة المثلى من أوعية المعلومات الالكترونية. أهمية اشتراك الباحثين في الدوريات الالكترونية ضمان للتميز العلمي وتحقيق للجودة الشاملة. إقتناء الدوريات الالكترونية ضرورة حتمية لأننا نعيش في عصر الانفجار المعرفي فلا بد من مواكبة التطورات التكنلوجية المتسارعة. ضرورة تعاون المؤلفين والناشرين والمكتبات بشكل يتحقق معه تكامل الوسيط لدعم مشروع لانشاء مكتبة رقمية للدوريات الالكترونية بالسودان.

The reality of scientific e-journals at university libraries (A case study of West Kordofan University Libraries) By: Dr. Fardous Omer Osman Abdul Rahman The study aimed at finding an expedient to overcome the problems facing the provision of electronic scientific journals which should be available to researchers at the university libraries in Sudan. It also aimed at knowing the reality of electronic information libraries receptacles of the University of West Kordofan and the extent to keep pace with rapid developments of informatics. This study is of great importance due to the use of modern technologies for electronic publishing. The electronic periodicals has an effective role in the development of scientific research in higher education institutions in Sudan, as well as their importance return back to its research articles that provide information and ideas more modern than those that exist in the books. Finding a way to overcome the problems that face the availability of electronic scientific journals whereby it will be available to researchers at the university libraries in Sudan. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, and it reached several conclusions, including: Procurement of the electronic scientific journals contributes to scientific growth. The study recommended the following: The need to provide the necessary requirements to ensure optimum utilization of receptacles of electronic information. The importance of the involvement of researchers in electronic journals to ensure scientific excellence and achieving comprehensive quality. Procurement of e-journals is an imperative deterministic; because we live in the era of knowledge explosion, so we should keep pace with rapid technological developments. The need for authors, publishers and libraries cooperate with the mediator achieved integration in support of a project to create a digital library of electronic journals in Sudan.
